My UX origin story

The first time I ever rode a plane was when I was 9 months old; my parents brought me to Turkey to visit my family. Every summer, I would spend three months living with my Grandmother on the Mediterranean beaches in Bodrum, fully immersing myself in the culture and people. Having so much exposure to different walks of life at a young age naturally led me to take an interest in international relations and politics, and I became the president of the Amnesty International club in my high school. I realized it wasn't international politics that excited me, but rather the people. I had a passion for people. At the same time, I also loved art and design. So when I found UX, it was a perfect synergy between the two. I found great joy in learning about human behavior, thoughts, and emotions and creating something that would ultimately make their lives better. Whether it is creating a mobile application that helps people better manage their type one diabetes or a web application that fosters communities and brings people together. The versatility of the field and the possibility of creating a positive impact on millions of people are what made me fall in love with the world of UX.
